Practical Support

Lifeline's 'Op' Shops' in Asquith and Epping help to raise funds - supporting our local services.

Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury provides many services for the local community, including the practical support.

Community Aid

This service is to provide assistance to people who are older and frail, people with a disability and their carers in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai area - so that they can remain in their own homes for as long as it is safe for them to do so. We can help with transport to medical appointments or to do shopping, as well as companionship visits and shopping/banking for those who are housebound.

Emergency Relief Services

Our Emergency Relief Funding is governed by the principles and guidelines set out in the Australian Council of Social Service's (ACOSS)

Financial or material aid to meet an immediate need, including food, electricity, water, and phone vouchers. This aid is made available to people in emergency and/or unforeseeable difficult or crisis circumstances.

The available funds and supply of vouchers are limited - and when a particular resource is unavailable, every effort will be made to provide a referral to another service that may be able to help.

Note: Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury's ERF program is focused on residents of the Hornsby & Ku-ring-gai council area and is available by appointment only.
