The wording you use in your will is important. The wrong wording could mean that your assets are not treated as you intended. The correct wording will ensure that gifts directed to Lifeline H2H will come directly to our Centre. If in doubt it is always best to seek professional advice from a legal advisor or solicitor.
If you would like to make a gift to Lifeline H2H we suggest that your Will contain the following wording:
For a Residuary Bequest:
I give, devise and bequeath to Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Incorporated (ABN 56 766 506 533) of 4 Park Avenue, Gordon, free from all duties, the following _____ percentage OR the remainder of my estate and direct that the receipt of the Treasurer for the time being will be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.
For a Pecuniary Bequest:
I give devise and bequeath to Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Incorporated (ABN 56 766 506 533) of 4 Park Avenue, Gordon, free from all duties, the following $ _____ amount and direct that the receipt of the Treasurer for the time being will be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.
For a Specific Bequest:
I give, devise and bequeath to Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Incorporated (ABN 56 766 506 533) of 4 Park Avenue, Gordon, free from all duties, the following ________ item/s and direct that the receipt of the Treasurer for the time being will be a sufficient
discharge to my trustees.
